Stevedoring business is one of our core competences. The combination of well trained and flexible employees together with our wide-ranging port equipment and long-term experiences gives us the ability to offer stevedoring services for general, liquid and bulk cargo. Services as loading, discharging and storage for a various kind of goods is our daily business.
Nearly all goods that are transshipped via the ports of Söderhamn need a short-termed, or even a long-termed, storage facility in the port. All our ports offer outdoor storage areas as well as warehouse capacities. Around 16.000 m² warehouse capacity for non-weather-resistant goods are available for our customers. Storage equipment such as fork lifts and wheel loaders are on-site.
In addition to port services on land, the Swedish company also offers waterside services. SSHAB owns and operates one tugboat used for tug assistance during ship maneuvers and as icebreaker during winter months to keep the harbors accessible.

Söderhamns Stuveri & Hamn AB owns and operates three 60t Essemko knuckle boom cranes. The cranes are usually used for loading and discharging of vessels and due to their mobility, we can use them in all ports. Furthermore, we offer to use the Essemko cranes for external operations. The cranes can be rented on daily basis for your projects.
