Söderhamns Stuveri & Hamn AB started its stevedore operations in 1927 and has been responsible since 1996 for the municipality`s port operations. It currently comprises stevedore and port operations in the company`s three leased port terminals and three privately owned industrial ports. It also includes icebreaking, assistance, towing and similar.
A trustful relationship with long-term customers and reliable services has resulted in continuous increase of handling volumes over recent years. With around 1 million cubic meters of handled sawn timber per year the port of Orrskär is one of the leading sawn timber ports in Sweden. Söderhamns Stuveri & Hamn AB employs around 50 employees.
Söderhamn Stuveri & Hamn AB has four shareholders in total. Main shareholder with around 51% percent of all shares is SCHRAMM Ports & Logistics Sweden AB, a subsidiary of the German port operator Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH, a company of SCHRAMM group. Further shareholders are the Municipality of Söderhamn (18%), Vallviks Bruk AB (16%) and AB PJ Haegerstrand (15%).
